When will Canada start protesting the NHL?
I have had enough with that joke called Bettman who continues to ruin Canada's game now as a result of a 3rd lockout in his tenure and now we could end up losing the Oilers to Seattle.
Shame on my fellow Canadian's who are asking for more of this dirty money from the league and not playing for the love of the game in their own country.

Good Canadian boys thinking of playing in Russia or with the other soft euros, Bettman moving more of Canada's game to South of the border, and the lock out....
THESE ARE THE END TIMES!

There is talk that the lockout could last for 2 full seasons, if it does, they will play in empty arenas for a decade. The fans need to boycott these guys when the lockout ends, whenever that may be.

Canada protesting the NHL?
I'm not Canadian and I'd hate to see the Oilers relocated to Seattle. Just makes no sense. If any team were to be relocated.....It should be Phoenix. But the Oilers fans don't deserve this at all.

Lol the Oilers aren`t going anywhere relax. Phoenix is next up on the chopping block, not Edmonton.

I agree as a Seattle sports fan. I am exited for my Sonics coming back but I do not want to see Edmonton leave!!!

Right, players should only play for the love of the game, and fans shouldn't pay to see games. Have fun in your make-believe utopia, in the real world capitalism sets the rules.

I tell ya I think the world is going to end in 2012. Why would good Canadian kids be playin over in Yugoslavia or Austria-Hungary, or Switzimawhatzit or Finamawhaddayacallit. These are our good Canadian kids, playing the greatest sport in the land, in the greatest country in world history. I tell ya, that ZHL, it'll never beat the good ol AHL I tell ya, I had some good scraps with Battleship Kelly, helluva fighter that kid. I knocked him out cold once, then we went up to Hershey and he knocked me into the boards. Knocked me out cold, broke both my legs, my left arm, and suffered a concussion. Played the next night I tell ya! That's how we good Canadian kids played back in the day. None of that euro crap. Naw, we played real style hockey back then. This one kid, his father was from Germany, so we shoved him into the boards. Suffered a spinal injury, broke both his legs and arms, still got up and played the game. Tough kid, I tell ya. Dead now, long gone, but boy, that kid was tough. Then we went into Rochester to play the Merks, man, they were a tough team those Merks. I hit this young kid over the head with my stick. Tough kid, I tell ya. Blood, everywhere. Kid got up and fought me, I punched his lights out I tell ya. Just knocked his lights out.
We never asked for more money on the Merks, because we were tough Canadian kids. All we asked for were stitches, after we punched a pinko frenchie's lights out. And razor blades, to tape to our fists. Boy, we were tough back in the day I tell ya. Not like those pinko non-hitting, visor-wearing euro pinko's that play now. We were tough Canadian kids I tell ya. Boy, I tell ya. Eh, boy, oh boy eh, I tell ya eh, tough Canadian kids eh, ooh, eh, tough kids on the Merks eh, we played tough style hockey eh, tough Canadian kids hitting them pinko frenchie's, eh, I tell ya, eh, I hit em hard eh, tough Ontario boys eh, hittin them frenchies eh.
Anyways, we played tougher hockey back in the day.
Sincerely,
Donald S. Cherry

Why don't you run for Prime Minister? Then you can move them to Ottawa and have a real hockey team there.
