I drink every day out of boredom?
I work an early morning shift stocking shelves at a big box store, so I usually get off work between 8 and 9am. I have to go to bed usually by 730pm or so every night. Basically, I can't ever go out or do anything or meet anyone due to my weird hours, so I get off work turn on the TV and drink. It's a really boring life, but I feel like I'm kind of stuck. Any suggestions on what to do instead of get drunk?

change ur routine: start going to bed as soon as u get home. Wake up in the afternoon, ull still have afew hours before ur shift. Wake up, workout, shower, eat, get out and get some fresh air and sunlight and start living ur life instead of slowly killing yourself..

Firstly, I would have some tea rather than alcohol!!
Maybe you should try to find something to do during the day. A lot of people would love to have the day free! I know most people are at work during that time, but there are still other people about, such as students on their day off, and retired people. Now that may not sound all that exciting, but I am a student who, on my day off, volunteers at St Vinnies 9am-3pm and even though everyone I work with are 60+, they are great company and I really enjoy doing it. I would definitely recommend volunteering somewhere. But like I said, there are people around during the day, you just need to find them!
Other things you could try: going to the gym, taking a day class or TAFE (not sure where you live but in Australia many TAFE courses are free, TAFE being technical college), just going out for some exercise (bush walking, running, swimming, surfing, diving, anything!), reading, watching something educational (might be less likely to drink alcohol)...
Sorry even though I'm 21 I am like an old lady so I hope this is still of some help to you!
