Why do you follow moral absolutism?

Writing an essay with the title 'Explain what is meant be Moral Absolutism'. I'm nearly finished but wanted to add in some reasons why people would follow it over other ethical theories, like relativism, and also some examples of how people have applied it in their lives. If you're a absolutist, could you please explain why that is and what decisions this leads you to?

Thanks a lot! :)

There are certainly ethical absolutes, you with no trouble need to appear deeply sufficient into the details of the difficulty. Each and every of your examples has flaws in trying to show your factor. For illustration, the gun one says you suppose homicide is flawed however you'd shoot someone if they attacked you. The hindrance is that it wouldn't be murder, it could be self defence, which could be very one of a kind. God does not need us to murder both, however there are situations where he condones killing (such as authorized executions). As I said, you need to seem at the specifics of every circumstance. But when anything is improper underneath a targeted set of situations, it'll constantly be wrong inside those occasions. Morals are absolute. They don't change from character to person either.
