What uni for biological sciences?
I'm applying to uni in Scotland (as I live here) to do Biological Sciences. I am partucularly interested in cell and molecular biology and genetics, but i want a course that deals with biology as a whole before I specialise in second or third year. Has anyone been to any of these unis and want to share their opinions? Also tell me what subject you did, it doesnt matter if you didnt do Biology, I just want to get a feel for what each Uni is like
Edinburgh
Glasgow
St Andrews
Dundee
I know there is plenty of information on uni websites but I want to hear what real people actually thought of these unis!!
Thanks :)

Hi i'm doing Forensic Science but that course includes mainly Molecular biology and genetics as well as chemistry, i'm not in Scotland im in England and i'd say the best thing to do is phone the uni's and ask for even look for their Facebook page, almost every uni has a facebook now were you can talk to students that attend and ask them questions.
Another thought would be to ask your college teachers as they'd know what uni is best for the subject your looking for seen as they've been there and done that also college teachers have a much better connection to universities than students do so its always best to ask them. they'd give you good advice just explain to them what you looking for and they'd tell you.
Gd luck :)
