How to change up workout?

Ive read that every once in a while (6 weeks or so) you have to change up your workout so your body doesnt adapt. does that just mean increase weight? I am used to my regimine as it fits my schedule and the equiptment i have...so it would be hard to change up the exercises. is incresing weight enough to keep getting result? what do you do to change your workout up?

You should try changing up the exercises because your body will get used to the same motions all the time. Increasing the weight is natural when doing the same exercise, but after a while you should do different exercises for the muscle groups.

For example when I go to the gym for cardio I dont sit on the elliptical for two hours everyday. My body would just get used to that. sooo instead I run for 15 mins, I elliptical for an hour and I bike for 15 mins

I'll choose other cardio work outs.
