Depends on how well i knew the 7 year old. if i found a card that i knew would appeal to her/him i would spend more - maybe up to $5. If i didn't know the 7 year old well, or couldn't find a card especially for him/her, then I would spend .99 cents + tax -- from guess where? the 99 cent store!

About $20 AU. My son is now 17 and ten years ago I know some of his cards (from friends) had $10 in so this sounds about right. If it is for your child or grand-child then you would have to take into account how many you have and treat them all equally.

    Nothing.

Buy a 7 years old something to play for the ,money. He/she will be more happy with it.

Source(s): I have a 7 years old niece. (money means nothing to her)

$10 bucks, and feel bad that you didn't buy them a real gift for about $25 bucks.

$25 was enough for me when I was seven!
