OBAMACARE is doing it again!?
So it is a $1,200 tax to the IRS if you don't have insurance.
I just received a letter, from General Dynamics - Now since my Spouse is covered by my insurance plan, the fee is going up $1,000 a year "as an allowable charge" to prove insurance coverage for the Dependent.
Wow - Isn't OBAMACARE great!!!
Who voted for this BUM? What could you actually find good about him?

My insurance premiums are over $400 a month so the tax would be much less than these rising premiums. I also noticed my deductible went up from $1000 to $1500, out of pocket maximum went from $3000 to $4500, and office visit copay go from $45 per visit to $60 per visit, while my HRA credit dropped from $500 to $150. We are getting screwed, yet the Democrats and Obama tout this monster that will destroy the middle class because the poor get Medicaid and the rich can afford to pay out of pocket leaving us with worthless insurance policies that do nothing. Paying $4800 for premiums and $4500 for coverage is about $10,000 a year and most middle class families do not have that kind of cash laying around. The government would do better just to give anyone over 50 a cyanide pill to take if they get a terminal diagnosis or suffer a heart attack.

The US Public are being totally misled by (For Profit) Insurance Companies.
In the UK we do not have many things still run by the State, apart from the Armed Services and our National Health Service which is almost universally popular.
We just all pay a PAYE National Insurance contribution, based on income, this entitles us to unlimited health care provided by our NHS, and minimum sick pay, and jobseekers allowance if you lose your job.
I hardly ever used the NHS and have never claimed unemployment, I never missed the NI payments that I paid through my wages, but was happy to know that I would be covered and that old people were being taken care of.
If people can afford better health care than the NHS may provide, like having your own private room or nursing care you can always go Private.
And btw UK people do not all have bad teeth, they are just not so vain that they need to have piano keys fitted to their mouths.

Don't play stupid. It is not Obama. Rich people need more money.
Send her to work lazy .... or to voting machine and she pray if Obama win.

What in the hell are you talking about? That letter came from your employer and the insurance carrier. You added him to your plan. Of course that costs more! What, you thought he was entitled to free coverage? That additional money *provides* coverage. Are you seriously whinging about an extrat $83 a month for health insurance?
This has nothing to do with any provision of the affordable care act.

and i thought if you paid the 'penalty' to the IRS, you had government insurance, NOPE! You just have to pay a penalty to the IRS, you still don't have insurance to pay your hospital bills, you gotta' pay them yourself and pay the IRS! Double screwed! imo

so tell me again how it sucks.. seeing how you're not paying for your own care and living off another's pension.
well, get a job.. work for a living and have people who depend on you... then tell me how it sucks.
Source(s): i find him good because i'm small business and terminally ill. now, stop stealing the pension out from under your aunt and make yourself useful and help around her house for a change.
