Trying to lose fat/weight?

I started dieting on September 3rd I was 211 pounds. For the first two weeks I only counted my calories and watched what I ate and got down to 206. Then third week of September I started intermittent fasting. On

October 3rd I weighed in at 198. This morning I weighed myself and I'm at 201. I kinda cheated on my diet and had pizza for dinner yeaterday I really regret it. I also have a strenuous job and go to the gym for strength training 2-3 times a week. I am 19, 5'7 and eat about 1200-1600 calories a day (on a caloric deficit). Am I on the right track? Why is my weight fluctuating so much (I check everyday)? My goal is 165-170 by the end of January, is this reasonable? Is it bad to

Eat junk food once in a while? I have 3 cubes of dove dark chocolate when I'm craving it badly. Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks

Protein is first and foremost. Limit your calories if trying to lose weight but not your protein. Drink plenty of water. Take your weight, divide by two, and that is how many ounces of water you should drink in a day. Make sure whatever carbohydrates you have is complex carbohydrates. Sources are yams, oatmeal, brown rice, quinoa and amaranth. Also get in your fiber. Eat fruit with the skin on and plenty of veggies. You need some fat, but make sure it is good fat, such as coconut oil, olive oil, avocados and nuts.

pack your lunch instead of eating out... drink ONLY WATER, like 5-8 bottles a day
