    Nope.

Even though Bill Goldberg wasn't the best technical wrestler, or a good seller of moves, i was a mark for him. I understand facts that he he injured Bret Hart and being the reason of Hart's early retirement, but still i found Goldberg entertaining. Only because of his power moves, which were hard to execute in the type of wrestlers he was supposed to execute them. Jackhammer to Big Show? lol wow. He had 6-7 moves very enjoyable to watch. To answer the question properly though, i don't consider him as a one hit wonder, because he strarted off wrestling later than most of the guys, and he was still being able to be at the top for quite some time, and since back then they were many more guys who could easily be main eventers, makes Goldberg's run even moreimpressive.

He had 4 years full time success and fame. + 1 year in the WWE. If you really think about it, besides most of the legends, all the other wrestlers do not stay that much in the spotlight. Even Brock lesnar has had...what? 3 years in total in the WWE, in both runs. And in the second run, only part time.

I would say goldberg was a pretty huge draw for WCW, He had good fan support from what i seen and even if he wasn't up there with likes of the Rocks Hollywood Hogans Austins promo wise, Think people loved all the amazing shows of power I know i did (Some would say goldberg wasn't such a good technical wrestler, but I think he was pretty capable in ring, just have to check out what he did in his first matches in wcw (or likes of his first 10 matches or something)

I think Goldberg would get peoples attentions if you put him in a main event, not exactly a name you would put as a opening/dark match if you had say a roster like WWE had in 2003 and also can't be a puny one hit wonder that wrestled the rock at what would be thought of at the time as his last match

No, Goldberg had about a 5 or 6 year run as a top drawing main eventer. He had a great career, considering he got into wrestling as late in his life as he did.

Goldberg was one of the top men in wrestling for over two years which is longer than most wrestlers ever get so I don't think so. Then after two years he was still a top name for a few more years.

    Source(s): fan since 1982

Yes. He was the right guy in the right place at the right time. WCW wanted to prove they could make stars since all their stars at the time were either from a decade or go, or were made stars by WWE. So they fed him a bunch of nobodies, had him destroy them, and people bought in. But he never, ever really drew. I mean when he won the WCW title, on free tv believe it or not, the ratings still lost to WWE and never took over. The one guy said his record, his record doesn't matter cause it's predetermined. He was never a draw, and shouldn't be, the man isnt' really that good.

If a record of 174-6 is a one hit wonder, then yes.
