Do you think the latest debate really made a difference?

Meaning for undecideds ... was there much to sway them either way?

Update:

So it fired up the base ... but what about the supposed undecideds that always pick the winner? Are there undecideds out there? Guess if they can get the 2008 Obama voters to the polls Obama can pull it off - the enthusiasm gap and all that. This debate just didn't seem all that earthshaking to me ... either way.

Yes. Both candidates showed real emotion.

...honestly, I was hoping a fistfight to start. Would've decided all this campaigning quickly ;)

according to the polls it does. But generally, there are not enough undecideds in the swing states to really matter.

It makes a big difference in a different way. Obama supporters were lacking enthusiasm after the last debate. Because of that, there is concern they won't go to the polls. With Obama's very strong performance tonight, the enthusiasm should return and Obama's odds of winning (already 2 to 1 over Romney) will increase.

John you must have watched some other debate. Everyone is saying Obama won. Romney lied (eg about the terrorist comment after the Libya attack). He dodged questions - for example the equal pay question. Rather than saying yes or no about supporting equal pay, he starts babbling about binders of women.

Yes, the last debate hurt Obama he had to prove he could debate this good.

With Three 12 hour debate preps how did Obama improve so substantially?

Obama put in a very strong debate in only his 2nd debate this campaign, while Romney had 22 debates in the Republican primary.

Does Obama showing much greater knowledge on Romney's positions in this debate show how quickly he can learn- NO TELEPROMPTERS NEEDED.

Or was Al Gore right about the altitude sickness in Denver which can cause lethargy. headaches, decreased memory ect. according to Denver News http://guide.denverpost.com/lists/8-tips-avoid-mil... and the army http://phc.amedd.army.mil/topics/discond/ai/Pages/...

because Obama was much more energetic, quick, and passionate.

Not as much as the first one. Obama did better so they're was not a clear cut winner.

I wouldn't say it made the difference, but it definitely had an impact on the elections, considering Obama dodged questions, avoided attacking certain points, etc. I think that most can unbiasly say that Romney won to a certain extent, supporters or not.

Minimal impact if any. I think the last debate will be big though
