Forearm pain near wrist, What is causing it?

My left forearm which isn't my dominant arm. About an inch from my wrist. On my radius not ulna. It is slightly swollen and just a tiny bit red. It is a little tender to the touch. It hurts when I move my hand certain ways especially under any load, like holding a clip board.

I don't remember doing anything to hurt it.

About 3 days ago it started hurting out of the blue. I thought it was a bruise. The last couple days have been a bit worse than the first.

It sounds like you may have sprained one of your forearm muscles, that is causing the swelling and pain....
