Why did Sarah 'Quitter' Palin use the racial term "shuck & jive" to describe President Obama?

Update:

Shaun: Stop pulling the "race card" card. You Cons overuse that even when the racism is obvious. I bet you think calling the KKK "racist" is "playing the race card."

Update 2:

Paul: You must have brains made of jello, because you don't have a clue.

"Shuck & Jive" IS a racial term that originates from black slaves who used to "shuck" corn, and would "jive" to keep their spirits up.

Also, Sarah Palin quit so she could make more money writing books and being a TV personality. It's obvious and it has come out.

You are painfully gullible, and you can't spell to save your life.

Update 3:

jaker: Those quotes weren't used towards a black person - the saying historically is rooted in slavery.

Because she's a hack who can't come up with any pithy phrases of her own - so she dredges up some old phrase that she read somewhere in one of the stacks of newspapers and magazines that she reads every day, and then uses it without even trying to find out what the f*** it means. Remember "blood libel?"

The Divine Ms. Sarah is like a two-year-old, she'll repeat anything she hears, and not even care about the meaning, or implications of saying it. Republicans LOVE buzzwords and catchphrases, they simplify things for the huddled masses that don't like thinking. Sarah is foremost amongst those huddled masses; she hasn't had an original thought - ever.

Because Chris Matthews used it describe Rachel Maddow she thought it would be OK.

" On July 7, 2010, Matthews, while talking to Rachel Maddow about her visit to Afghanistan, wondered, "What has it been like, as you shuck and jive, hang out with the men over there, the women over there, in uniform risking their lives every day?" The late Tim Russert also used the term on July 18, 2003.

In 2008, then-New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said of Barack Obama: "You can't shuck and jive at a press conference." Steve McMahon, a Hardball regular, talked to then-MSNBC host Tucker Carlson and demurred, "Well, that's not the way I would have put it."

On September 7, 2011, Jay Carney, a spokesman for Matthews' beloved Obama, told the press corps, "Sorry. I'm going to shuck and jive! Time to shuck and jive."

My Oh My, she gon' and p1ssed off the boss nah, hear?!

It was bar room talk. Tasteless. Obama may actually have chuckled at it, but it was said by PALIN, not Key and Peele.

Regardless, she really should reserve that talk for less publicized moments. The public mob-at-large will only get riled over it.

At this point, she is behaving as expected...she knows she is never going to be the POTUS, she's made her money and now she is joining the ranks of The Donald et al.

ADDED: I'm in the same "chip" bag as (((TOKE)))... lol!

    It's a racial term?

Crap....having grown up on those Airplane movies in the 70's I thought it was a pop culture thing.

Now, consider this, I am NOT the crispiest chip in the bag....I fully admit to my IQ shortfall...I am however light years smarter than Ms Palin....if I didn't know it was a racial thing & I'm in Canada, go even further north to Alaska & see how many peeps up there, so far removed from plantation history, know.

Thanks a freakin lot, putting me in a position to defend Palin.....

Good gravy, you think slaves are the only peeps to shuck corn? Crap, even up here in the wilds of Canada we shuck corn.....

"Shuckin and Jivin” was a common expression one would hear in Chicago from at least the late 1960’s through the 1980’s. The most anti-Black thing you could do on November 3 is to vote for Obama. Because after 4 long years we know that Obama will do nothing at all for the urban Blacks. Obama only knows how to take the campaign donations and jobs from the Black community and all the urban Blacks get back is abortion funding and gay marriage.

Sarah Palin has no self control. She is like most Neocons that let their mouth run away with itself and then make ridiculous excuses. I don't know a single Liberal that would not honor their opinons if they weren't always on the attack mode.

Probably because she's on record as being a Birther Idiot.......and that's the level of her mentality..........

bordering on brain dead. Kinda like Donald Trump.

Idiots still trying to play that worn out race card.

That is not a racial term. You have to be a raciest to think it is. Calling someone a quitter because she gave up her job for her states best interest is not quitting. It is admirable. More importantly your prejudice of Sarah trumps her opinon which discribed Obama's BS appropriatly as shuck & jive.
