Since 2008 The GOP has improved on early voting in Ohio, while still up in the process Obama's early voting turn out is not as good as last election, and the average of polls had Obama up +6 on McCain in which he went on to win by only 4. Right now he is only +2 on Romney who along with their Senator and Governor are making a very strong push for the 18 electorates.

Yes I think Romney will win the election with or without Ohio. Bush only lost Wisconsin by .03% of the vote and that was without Paul Ryan on the ticket.

If the poll numbers are accurate and keep trending in the same direction they have for the last couple of weeks it may turn out to be a Romney landslide.
