No, according to Romney/Ryan budget, the government would have to cut more than half of mandatory, yes mandatory spending, and almost all of discretionary spending - that means everything from education, dept of transportation, commerce, housing, services, justice system, and washington dc itself...will be gone. Romney only cares about paying less capital gains taxes, or pay none at all.

The poor are still poor even after a government program helps them or there is something wrong with the government. It is an assistance for the needy.

I doubt romney is going to eliminate many if any of the programs that help the needy.

I have been poor and utilized TANF, Foodstamps, and medicaid once upon a time...those things are not going anywhere. Neither is social security, medicaire, or anything else.

A 4 year temporary, slight increase, in assistance to the needy is definitely not a reason to re-elect a president that failed to even show a trend for the future in change for the positive.

Romney's strength IS economy; most americans agree.

However, most americans still cling to there dogmatic beliefs.

Don't be such a ****, and think that you know what's right and wrong after you watched a few Youtube commercials. Romney actually understands the Constitution, and isn't a Socialist like Obama. Romney's plan is to cut the Welfare for the people who are simply leaching off of our government because they are the people who don't deserve it. And the Liberals thought that Obama would have the elderly and veteran vote, but as it turns out, they're more afraid of ObamaCare than they are Romney's plan to cut off Welfare. Romney wants to pull people out of poverty, and his plans will do just that. Obama is the one who's putting America in poverty, because he provides Welfare to the people who don't work. That money comes from the middle class being taxed from honest dollars to support those who don't work when they can. Therefore, it is easier to just not work at all, while we all suffer for them.

The poor are usually poor for two reasons:

1. they where born poor, i know a lot of people that were born poor but worked hard and made good choices and now are successful.

2. then there are people who are just plain dumb and lazy. they made bad choices they should pay for them not me

The programs like welfare and what not where meant to be for disabled people and people who need to keep there family afloat while they find a job. the shame of being on benefits usually motivated people to work but it has become a sorta life style for a lot of families which is sad. bottom line the government simply cannot afford it because of those people.

No, he will not cut programs for those who need them but hopefully will thin the herd of those who refuse to take responsibility for their own lives.
