Then bald-faced lie on Jeep:

Seriously, how can anybody take this guy seriously? The only thing consistent about Romney is he will change any viewpoint, and lie about most anything to win this race.
Court: sad part is you're absolutely right.

It's not just Romney. The Republicans have gotten to the point where facts simply no longer matter. When Paul Ryan made his acceptance speech at the convention, Fox News themselves said it sounded like he was trying to break a record for the number of lies in a speech. Ryan responded by saying they weren't going to let fact-checkers run their campaign. And since that day, fact checkers have been having a great time! I read an article analyzing Romney's performance in the final debate with Obama that listed 41 distinct, separate lies.
The whole trick is to get your voters conditioned to see facts as just not important. It's all about party. ANYTHING Obama says is a lie, and ANYTHING Romney says is 'true', even if its not. And this is nothing new, they did the same with Clinton, and Carter. How many Republicans to this day repeat the old lies about Clinton murdering staff members or selling nuclear secrets to the Chinese? These are the same people who keep repeating Obama never showed his birth certificate. The truth, or lack thereof, simply isn't important!

To be honest all politicians lie and flip flop all the time. Both parties have a history of doing it. Sadly, it's about not getting caught. Now the opinions that I'm sensing from the answers of the question are nowhere near moderate and are extremely biased towards one side (like most of America is), which disallows us to truly see what is going on, it clouds our sight. Both sides accuse the other of being ignorant or incapable of thinking clearly. Both sides accuse the other of lies and scandals and accuse the other side of being ineffective. History has proven that both parties have produced great leaders and terrible leaders. And the sooner our nation can get away from the political party system the sooner we can have effective elections that are decided on the individual's ideals rather than stereotypes about an entire group. George Washington, Though only having an estimated IQ of 118 was an incredibly wise man and pointed out that this would happen if political parties developed. I don't want to burst your bubble and this will probably lower my percentage of best answers...but Obama has told his fair share of lies and participated in his fair share of flip flops. It is true that Romney has also. So to keep fueling these types of arguments and hatred for the opposite party are, if anything, preventing us in many ways from having effective government and to a degree separating us as a society in a time where it is dire for all of us to be getting along. I respect your views completely, and I LOVE this nation, but the bickering about he said/ she said needs to stop.

Enough people hate Obama so much that they don't care about Romney's lies and flip flops.

I don't think, as Republicans don't see facts, that this will change anything.
They will vote for Mott Romnoy anyway.
