Republicans- If Romney wins are you going to say he inherited Obama's mess?
or is it his economy? I just want to know how you feel on the issue. Do you have a right to blame Obama? Should you blame Obama? If you blame Obama, then what makes you any better than the Democrats that blamed Bush?
@ Douglous B- Yes Exactly like that. Are you guys going to do that?
@ Frank Texan @ Me no Frego @ Uncle Pennybags - You have every right in the world to blame Obama. I'm not saying you shouln't. I just want to know if Republicans were going to or not. I was unclear.

You bet I will.
Look, it's absolutely true Obama inherited a crappy economy. But that's the job he campaigned for! And he told us he could fix it in 3 years.
So yes, I will say Romney inherited a crappy economy and loads of debt, and I expect Romney to fix it in 4 years or I'll vote his @ss out too!

He will inherit things he must work on (all presidents do), but no, I will not be blaming Obama 4 years later unlike Obama and Democrats who STILL blame Bush. It actually makes me laugh and at the same time wonder when the 'victim' mentality will end.
As I do with all - I will hold Romney to his policies and actions. It's what I did with Obama and why I will not vote for him. I did not vote for him the first time around and yet gave him the benefit of the doubt - he did not keep his promises and his policies have failed. He has lied quite a bit and he does not take responsibility for things - he plays the victim. This all has lost my respect for him.
If Romney does as Obama has done there is no way I would vote for him again.

I won't. I have more Honor than that.
We know we are going into a mess. Our goal, after 4 years, will to have Improved the situation, not make it worse or brag about breaking even.
If we don't do that, we are a failure and Republicans are much better at standing up and taking accountability for their failed responsibilities. Unlike the current batch of Finger Pointers and Blamers we have in D.C.
Holy Cow....we recovered faster and stronger in the first 3 years after the Great Depression than we have from our puny little Recession.
That President didn't blame his predecessor for 4 years....he United us, he gave us Confidence, he told us we ALL had to pitch, make sacrifices and take risks to get out of the hole we were in.
This President divides us, pits us one against another in order to Maintain Turmoil that he can pretend to be remedying. That will never help us and is the main reason I'd like to see him gone.

And why not? It was Obama and only Obama who added 6 trillion more dollars of debt to the national debt, that was only 1 trillion dollars when he took office. He is the one who put 23 million middle class families into the poor house; to include me. Right now, there virtually is no middle class like there was when he took office.

Of course. Every Bush year was great. Obama has never had a good year or even a good month. A total mess.
Remember 1992 and the NY Times was calling George HW Bush's GDP of 2.7% "terrible" ? [Obama's is 1.5%]. The NYT said then it should be "twice as high" just to be tolerable.
That same NYT today is saying Obama's 1.5% is "getting better and give it time"
Give me a break.
Source(s): @Realist .. Actually, just define the problem and deal with it. But then, as an engineer, I would use the technical approach. But we still have to deal with the Senate, Harry Reid, who blocks everything. - NiJoLv 69 years ago
I'm voting Romney. And if I don't see progress in 4 years, I'll blame him for not initiating a turn around. Kinda like what Barry/Barrack promised and is now trying to avoid. He showed what his priority was, he got the health care bill passed. Wrong choice.

If Obama wins who will he say he inherited this mess from?
Who ordered the "stand down" in Benghazi?
A brave CIA officer on a roof died desperately lazing targets for a gunship that he was sure must be overhead that in fact was never allowed to arrive.
Would you vote for the person who left them all to die purely for politics?
I would not and if Romney did any of those things I would not vote to reelect.

People will still blame Bush because that's what the Obama supporters do, just like sheep, they follow the leader.

My prediction is that it will be like the rebirth of America after Reagan replaced Jiminy Carter.
