A cat in my care is heavily pregnant and she only ate some of her food and yesterday she ate all of it and the days before that, she normally eats all her food and if another one of my cats doesn't finish their food she will eat it, this is not like her at all. Loss of appetite is a common thing with cats when mild labour begins, plus the kittens wil be placing pressure on her stomach too as they turn over in the womb ready for the actual birth itself,so yes it is so normal for her to just nibble at her food during the last stages of her pregnancy,
cats can go off their food around a day or two before giving birth,so don't worry about this it is normal behaviour, even the greediest of cats go off food as mild labour begins as the hormones will be making her feel rather queasy,
also check her nipples as around 2 to 4 days before you will notice flakes of dried milk this is her colostrum and is a big clue of the birth being close,
hope this helps

Quite possibly! Being in pain makes one (even animals) lose their usual good appetite....and labor IS painful...cats are able to hide their pain well, so...it's good you have a place ready for her.
