Distract me pleaase!! anxiously doing controlled crying with 2yo!! :(?
Soo... keep me in my lounge room... my daughter threw her bottles 'botts" in the bin today (quite willingly with my encouragement) because she is a big girl and botts are for babys!! (she uses it as a dummy only at night but im getting worried for her teeth!!) and while it was great fun today, she doesnt think so now,, shes in her cot screaming "No big girl!! MUMMYYYY no big girl!!! bott!!!" i did keep one super emergency one in the back of the cupboard in a plastic bag lol but i refuseeee to give in!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i need distracting so i dont go in there!!

what have your toddlers done or said lately that have absolutely cracked you up?
because " K " , that will take her back to square one, she has had a cuddle since going to bed, it just winds her back up when i put her down again.

My little girl wasn't bothered when I stopped her having it luckily but when she was yoounger she would cry like that in her cot,sometimes a cuddle would help but if she just wouldn't settle I would sit on my landing very quietly and listen to her (so I could hear she was okay) andsit or lean on a pillow and read a book or mag or sometimes even do crosswords.
I know it's hard but be strong she will eventually get used to the changes :). I stopped my little girl having a dummy and bottle and she didn't even notice :S.
