How old do you have to be to move out?
Basically my mate is 16 next year and hates living at home, she doesn't have a great family life, but that's not my business to put on here. Anyway, she wants to move out at 16 but I thought you need your parents permission, but then, he's not actually her real dad anyway... Would she be able to live with my family if they agreed or on her own if she wants or is that not going to happen?:/
Oh and this is in England by the way:))

I believe most states require you to be 18 in order to live on your own. Unless she get emancipation and then she can live on her own, but most services like electricity and such require you to be 18 to start a new account. I believe anyways.

Unfortunately, you can only move out when you are 18 AND you need parents permission.
