I FORGOT MY GLASSES
Yesterday my daughter asked why I didn't do something useful with my
time.
She suggested I go down to the senior center and hang out with the guys.
I did this and when I got home last night I told her that I had joined
a parachute club.
She said, "Are you nuts? You're almost 69 years old and you're going to
start jumping out of airplanes?
I proudly showed her that I even got a
membership card.
She said to me, "Good grief, where are your glasses! This is a
membership to a Prostitute Club, not a Parachute Club."
I'm in trouble again, and I don't know what to do... I signed up for
five jumps a week.
Life as a senior citizen is not getting any easier.

That is so funny!
When I was first exploring options for my health care, a representative came to tell me of the one she represented. I told her I was not deciding yet but wanted information, she asked me to sign something, before I did it, I asked her why since I hadn't decided yet. She told me it was just to show the office she was seeing potential clients. Either she lied or was confused, I was signed up for I don't remember which one, too long ago. When something came in the mail about my membership I called immediately and said I have not yet made a decision. To get out of it, I had to go to the local office to sign papers saying I was leaving the program! Following that experience, I have tried to be ultra careful, I sign nothing that I'm not entirely sure what I am signing. Harder now since I cannot read a printed page. I make sure someone is with me to clarify things.

It is cute! I haven't signed up for anything in years that I didn't know exactly what I was getting into. I learned my lesson at an early age, when I signed up for lessons in cartooning. I was only not quite 11 at the time. I got mailings from that company for years. These days, it's much worse.

Yes, when I renewed on Classmates.com, I was automatically signed up for some anti-identity theft program. They were mighty tricky with that! Took me quite a while to get that stopped as I aready have that base well covered.

With your choice, I have just one suggestion: Quit the club when your bag of quarters gets too heavy to carry!

No.
I learned in the Army never to sign up for anything.
And if you volunteer for something you didn't understand the question.
