Boss told me 'all Italians are catholic' and I got offended...was I wrong to be offended?

It could be worse. My Italian friends are always being assumed to be Mob. Moron bosses are part of the territory and unfortunately they have all the power. When conversations take a crazy turn, try to escape as quickly as possible and say as little as possible.

Well you are only part italian and you can have only one religion so maybe your italian background did not stick out in your family. I was once a roman catholic until I realized religion is fake.
