Is it fine that GOP supporters learned nothing from the election if their Congressmen didn't either?

House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, continues to receive pushback from fellow Republicans over his efforts toward conciliation with Democrats after their election victory.

Rep. Tom Price, R-Ga., speaking on Fox News Sunday, said he disagreed with Boehner’s suggestion that President Obama’s reelection would end GOP efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Price said “no” when asked if he agreed with Boehner.

“I can tell you, as a physician, we're not opposed to the president's health care law because of this election. We're opposed because it's bad policy and it's bad for patients all across this land,” Price said.

Boehner recently said "the election changes that" when asked if he will continue efforts to repeal the law. “Obamacare is the law of the land,” he said.

Update:

@Daddio - you keep telling yourself that. Romney did not lose because "He was too liberal".

Update 2:

@Shauna - did you see the results? The GOP House LOST seats. The Dem Senate GAINED seats. You see? We ALREADY wised up!

You can get the conservative or the liberal side of this argument lol. Being a Libertarian and generally siding with GOP policies ill give you my side. Boehner is pretty much given up given the outcome of the election and is pretty much throwing his arms in and letting whatever happens happen. As a key member in the GOP party he needs to be a little more critical about Obamacare instead of throwing his arms in and giving up, its somewhat pathetic. However you could also say he's trying to be more bipartisan, which he could use seeing as hes usually pretty set in stone with his policies. Either way you look at this there's no doubt the GOP will need to change some strategies if they want any chance of winning a presidential campaign in the future.

The GOP would have won if they nominated a conservative instead of Romney, he couldn't even get as many to turn out as 4 yrs ago

Bad law is bad law, they should vote the way the constituents wanted when they sent them. Repeal or defund.
