Where can I get a birth certificate for my brother?
Well ok, I have an older brother who lives in New York and he was born in Los Angeles California. How do I get a birth certificate for him without him having to go to California to get it? Is there a website or place he can mail or pay to have his birth certificate sent to New York? He needs his birth certificate is there a way he can get it in New York without going to the hospital in Los Angeles? Please help!!!

he needs to contact the county health department where he was born
and ask about ordering a birth certificate
he needs to do this... not you... unless you are his legal guardian

he will have to contact the county vital statistics where he was born. they do have applications online for most counties now, but it takes at least 6 weeks to process.
