Why can't Republicans understand that they must get along with others?

Because they are the worst kind of fascist. They want to bully America into believing in their view or else they are considered the enemy of the nation. The Tea Party and the extremist in the Republican party are not trying to govern. They try to dictate. I think the like to this youtube video really captures how they claim moderation and liberal beliefs are the death nail of America, but in actuality they are just as much of a problem as tho hard line liberals. The middle, the silent majority needs to really step up and put both in their place because they are hurting civil discourse and progress.

Being from Cambridge Mass, I would say it is the opposite. If you had a Romney bumper sticker, it got vandalized. And in university it was always the Marxists and Democrat professors we had to make sure to write our papers on their line or else get a lower grade, yet the few Republican and Libertarian ones we had, you could breath and write what you wanted and get a passing grade.
