My iPod touch's home button broke?
My cat knocked my iPod touch off my dresser and now my home button is broken. What can I do to fix it? Is there an app I can download on it to jailbreak it? Can the button just be replaced?
I'm pretty sure it is either a 3rd or 4th generation. thanks!

Ok, well this happened to my friend also so I can help you.
You CAN get it fixed, but otherwise...
Ok so in order to do this, you have to be updated to ios 6
Ok so go to settings.
Go to general
Go to accessibility
Go to AssistiveTouch
And turn it on.
Wait like 2 or 3 seconds and this white circle thing should come up and you can just click on it and then click on home and it'll take you to home. It has other choices as well, but since my home button isn't broken idk what they do.

there is no such thing as an app for that, and yes it can be replace, but i recommend you not to go to an apple store because they will charge you A LOT!. just go to a local store for phones and they will fix it for cheap. There is this kinds of local stores everywhere you should have one around.
