I just wished people would learn to use the "resolved questions" function and they wouldn't have ask the same question over and over again. It doesn't take any knowledge of astrology whatsoever to do that, and it's something even the general public can figure out. ***Also, some of your answerers should realize that it's "Vedic" not "verdic". Someone who knows so much about astrology should know that too. And that the Vedic delineation for a given sign is not the same as the Western delineation for the same sign. So the description of Capricorn in Western is not the same description Capricorn in Vedic, for example. In fact, I am a Sidereal Sag, which is delinated very much like a western Capricorn. It's a matter of symantics, in any Sun sign astrology, and usually pans out about the same.

Yes it does make you more Compatible depending on the degree. Your girlfriend will tend to listen to you more, my boyfriend and I have a sun moon connection. If you research it you will find a lot of good information.

But Sun sign astrology doesn't work in real life.

It is only a way for writers to make money off of strangers ... off of people who they cannot ask for their birthdata and use real astrology.

If you Moon is in a compatible aspect with someone's Sun ... or Moon, or Mercury, or Venus, or Mars ... or any of the other planets,

then there is some compatibility going on.

However, all chart comparison have many many aspects, and as sure as there will be some compatible aspects, there will be some aspects that are incompatible.

Makes sense, seeing as there is no such thing as a relationship with no problems. Even the best of relationships have problems. The difference between those who make it and those who don't is mostly a a matter of how good the individual relationship skills are.

In other words, compatible aspects help, but do not create relationship success.

Unfortuantely, incompatible aspects can break up even a strongly-compatible relationship.

You have Sun in Capricorn. IF her Moon is within 8 degrees of your Sun, this means your Sun is conjunctd her Moon. A conjunctcion means your Sun need (to like yourself) interacts in a strong, harmonious manner with her Moon need (her need to feel emotionally safe in life). The way she expresses her emotions tends to enhance your self-esteem. And your self-confidence makes her feel safe.

For instance ..

If your Sun is at 15 degrees of Capricorn, and her Moon is anywhere between 7 and 23 Capricorn, then these two planets are in a conjunct aspect.

However, if her Moon was at, say 28 Capricorn, there is no conjunct aspect. There is a slight degree of compatibility only because the sign is the same .. but there is no direct strong interaction between your Sun need and her Moon need.

In a similar fashion, your Moon in Cancer and her Sun is in Pisces. There are many different possible aspects, including NO aspect, between your Moon need and her Sun need.

- If the two planets are in a trine aspect (120 degrees apart, plus/minus 8 degrees either way), this is a harmonious interaction. Not as strong as the conjunct aspect, but still harmonious. This would happen is your Moon was at 15 cancer and her Sun was at at 18 Pisces.

- If the two planets are in a square aspect (90 degrees apart, plus/minus 8 degrees either way), this is a discordant interaction. Despite the "compatibility" of the two signs involved, when you express your emotions (Moon), your threaten her self-esteem (Sun). And her self-esteem efforts make you feel emotionally unsafe. A square could happen if your Moon was at 2 Cancer and her Sun was at 28 Pisces, for instance.

You have to look at EVERY aspect involving EVERY planet in your chart with every planet in her chart.

Astrological compatibility is very complicated, and you are not using it correctly.
