Why does Fox News keep saying " Traditional America" Lost the Election?

What is that supposed to men? Bill O'reilly has been saying it all week long, constantly... Along with defending his line about " 20 years ago, If this election took place, Mitt Romney would have won by a landslide".. Okay so what is the purpose of spitting lines like this constantly? The county is evolving. Is the implication that Whites vote for Whites? Yeah fox news we get it that Most whites voted for Romney, but why keep saying " Traditional America " lost the election?

Cause America is changing. People want socialism, redistribution of wealth and entitlements. We were not founded on these things. We were founded on working hard what you have and earning an income. People aren't interested in that anymore.

Fox News is a farce and the sooner the viewers of that network realize it, the better. The viewers of Fox News wouldn't know journalism if it stared them straight in the face!! Traditional America means "conservative white America". It's kind of like Fox News and their viewers just woke up from a Rip Van Winkle sleep and suddenly realized that America has changed. The change in demographics has been going on for many years now and conservatives are just now realizing it and it is shocking to them. It's called sticking your head in the sand.

Examine the phrase "conservative." What are they working to conserve? Their version of Christian morality foisted upon a secular society, maintaining the staus-quo and a yearning for some sort of Leave It To Beaver type of existence. I think the Fox News version of "Traditional America" is some sort of Utopian vision of how conservatives viewed America during the Reagan years. Problem is, unless someone builds a Flux Capacitor, we'll keep moving forward in time...

In the 2000s, the Bush Administration came to power and retained power by "turning out their base." O'Reilly evidently thinks the Republican "base" didn't turn out in this election, and wants to sow the seeds of fear for 2016 to ensure that does not happen again.

You might say that a better option for the GOP's survival would be for them to stop playing to the radical base and moderate their positions from wanting to return to a utopian 1950s America, but would that really be the most intellectually honest thing for them to do? Better for them, and for us, to allow the demographic trends to sweep them into irrelevancy.

The true answer to our problems is not to strive for big government, or small government, but SMART government.

Once again, you blame it on race. Tradition and culture are two distinctly different things. The days of asking not what our country can do for us, but what we can do for our country, are over. The days when we knew our enemies, and united to defeat them. The days when taking pride in your job meant more than just being able to pay the cell phone and internet bill, and having time off. That is the "Traditional America" of which he speaks.

Traditional America is a nation that wholly believes/supports the Constitution and the Declaration of Independance and the Pledge of Allegience, all of which now face ridicule from the current WH!

    It's absolutely true.

Traditional America, the Old White Christian folks are a demographic that is shrinking fast. Those people hankering for that 1950's dream are dying of old age and being replaced by Hispanic Democrats.

And of course, the old white Christian folks aren't going to vote for small government, less medicaid and cutting pensions are they?

I'm presuming that "Traditional America lost" is their way of saying "Our side lost" And it did. They should live with it, because all the childish whingeing in the world won't change it.

because fox news is a pathetic and disgusting excuse for what's passed as "news". its divisive propaganda and people who actually use it for information are ignorant because of it. of course they would disagree and just say "well msnbc...blah blah blah" but that's not the point. msnbc isnt much better. both channels are "opinion" channels meant to entertain, not inform. its too bad people are just too stupid to figure this out.
