A good place to design a vacation?

Two of my friends and I are planning a girl's getaway for June 2013 to Disney World. I was hoping there was a place I could go to on the web where I can check prices for our stay that are aimed more for adult packages, since we will all be child free and it seems everything I find offers things for families. I know it's a family resort but they have to have something for adults going as well?

Also, on a side note. Has anyone had any luck with the Disney cruises? Do those tend to be more "adult friendly"?

Honestly, I don't suggest a travel agency. While they may offer free information, sometimes it's a mess if you book through them and you may end up paying more.

Just poke around the Disney website. If you're looking to stay away from kids as much as possible (which is problematic in Disney) then avoid the Value Resorts (All Stars, Pop Century and Art of Animation). A family Disney vacation takes an average of 5 years to save for and they're so expensive so a lot of families stay here because they don't spend a lot of time at the resorts.

The Swan & Dolphin which are participant resorts cannot be booked on the Disney website but are much more adult-friendly. I booked that for my sister and her husband for a weekend getaway after their wedding.

Also take advantage of night-time Extra Magic Hours. When parks, especially in the summer months, are open until 1 or 2 am, you'll find them much less crowded at those times so they're sometimes better to enjoy then.

I have also done a Disney cruise but it's been a few years. Yes there will be a lot of kids but they do have adult only sections on the cruise lines. They also have kids only sections so half the time the kids are being watched for a full day and you won't see them very much. Disney offers Land/Sea packages but those can be very expensive.

I'll be more than happy to help if you need additional information.

go to a travel agency and pick free literature then go to a different agency and see if they have any free literature that id different. go to american express and see if they offer adult-themed trips. carry around from one place to another the ;iterature that you already have so you tell the agencies truthfully that you are shopping
