Would leather black monochrome converse pass as dress shoes?
My high school expects students to wear "dress shoes" on chapel days. Here are the expectations:
"No athletic shoes. No open-toed shoes."
Even though it says no athletic shoes, would black monochrome leather converse work?

Yeah, those would be fine. They look like nice shoes to me. Definitely not sneakers, and I doubt anyone is going to get down on the ground to inspect your shoes to nit pick them.
