I just got onto Facebook. Is there any way to delete some or all of the "People You May Know"?

Click on the 'x' next to individuals. That will remove them from the list and prevent them from appearing again.

TO FIND POSSIBLE FRIENDS:

Type in name of friend into search box.

Click 'See more results'.

On left side of page, click 'People'.

At top of page, under 'Search Tools', you will see 'Location' with a downward-facing arrow.

That is the Filter dropdown menu.

Click it to choose from: Location, Education or Workplace.

Click 'Add another filter' to use two, or all three, choices.

You may also import your contacts from other places, such as email, and Find Friends that way.

Yes when u add a current city or school u used to attend when u go to find friends it has suggestions if u want to search for them in ur town old school or even ur email addresses contact list. as far as I'm aware u can only hide the suggestions but that's on a pc not phone u just have to scroll past them. You just have to get used to learning facebook. its great for keeping in contact with family and friends over long distances and is quicker than the post.

Once you get more friends they'll go away. If you know the persons name you can search for them at the top in in the search bar. So , if you're looking for old friends and you know who they are , you can add them an eventually people you may know will go away. Hope I helped.
