In the eyes of Acceptance... everything is beautifully imperfect. It is in the arms of Acceptance where the universe embraces.

Just in case the video cannot be viewed, it is a eulogy of a woman who lost his husband... and here are some of what she said. I hope I heard her words correctly.
"I'm not going to sing praises for my late husband... not today. And neither am I going to talk about how good he was... enough people have done that here. Instead, I want to talk about some things that will make some of you feel... a bit uncomfortable.
In the end... it's these small things that you remember. The little imperfections... that make them perfect... for you. So to my beautiful children, I hope one day... you, too, find yourselves life partners... who are as beautifully imperfect as your father was to me......."

Yes you're right. An imperfection holds it's own unique beauty that leaves a greater imprint in ones mind than someone you would describe as close to perfection. Living in a world so far from perfect, we can't help but see more fake with more perfection.
Imperfection is what creates you, & not only can we hold emotional attachments to someone, we can create our own emotional attachment towards the imperfection, which simply makes it perfect

We know only of 'Fleeting Perfection' that defies the likes of asymmetry, or imbalance, or distortion, or inconsistency. What is perfect in everything that constantly changes? Even the stars in their magnificent brightness burst and die ---- beautifully?
Most of the beauty we exclaim as “Perfect!” are candidly generated by 'imperfection'.
Roses are undeniably beautiful --- with their thorns. Clouds that move from one distortion to another---is some breath-taking scenery. Dolphins are stunningly beautiful in their stunts above the water --- in their inability to breathe under it. Penguins, as birds that can't fly --- daze the eyes in their exotic walk.
And Love, as that which blows us away,....is also that which cuts us to pieces ---- is as yet 'The Most Beautiful'---- to a heart that has experienced its perfect imperfections.

i can agree with that. if all we were perfect, we'd have the same face, form, shape, colour, etc... but what's perfection? to look like certain photoshopped images - nature or mankind? no they are not even close to perfect but delusion to make people like ... and the purpose is achieved most of the time but not perfection.
the reality is very painful because desire - by desiring something, we feel the pain because we want and cannot get (everything we desire). Once desire is for it, something does become beautiful anyway. That's making the beholders. Yes, once you appreciate something as beautiful, a pain takes hold of your heart - and one day it can grow into nostalgia etc. unless you forget it. But if you can forget it, it didn't touch your heart at all and not really beautiful to you.

hello and good day, I often think that it is only the nature of humanity that searches and defines perfection. nature in its self is often imperfect and as such is perfect in it's beauty. I often see things such as trees growing out of chimneys or other such things and am reminded that nature is its own force. I love this question as it also reminds me that imperfection is beautiful.
In the sense too that if imperfection was created in error then the All from which it came loves it so, that it will embrace it always

I think so. That's what I've been thinking all the time, but people don't seem to understand the concept. Nothing is "perfect", so isn't "imperfection" by that definition "perfection", really?

It's the imperfection in others that make them unique ,and all the more lovable ...

Yes Lorry, Your question is the best one that I have seen today
that is all about positive thinking.
We do not have to stand at the mirror and say:
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
