It's pretty simple:

Why do christians need the government to support their religion? This is especially fatiguing to think about when you consider the group mostly fighting for acknowledgement by the government are "limited government" right wingers. What gives?

Surely whoever wrote that article must be joking.

If the State can endorse Christianity because of the semantic non-point that it's a "philosophy, not a religion" then by the same logic it could endorse atheism. Yet the believers would never say that would be legal.

As to atheists not talking about other religions besides Christianity, not only is that not true, but is it really such a surprise that atheists most talk about the religions that they most see around them? Most atheists live in the West and the West is predominantly Christian at the moment.

The war on Christmas is the Christian war against anybody but them being allowed to celebrate anything but the "birth of their lord".
