I agree with the second part--sometimes we just need a listener who will keep quiet while we vent.

But not always. I HATE it when people sugar-coat truths or flat out lie to be because they 'feel bad', 'don't want to make me feel bad', 'think it's mean', etc. No, tell me the damn truth to my face or else you're a two-face. I can handle the truth and I'd rather be upset at the truth than content over a lie/sugaring only to find the truh out later and be pissed.

But it depends on who you are talking to, what you expect from that person.

Sometimes you want truth because sometimes sometimes being wrong but being kind may hurt later.

as per my opinion being kind.............reason according to me is while being right you might heart someone to prove your point but when you are kind people will not see if you are right or wrong they will admire your kindness..............
