Is the greatest civilisation in history African?

Update:

@I smell bullshi®...Modern America is an expansion of Europeanism. Do you mean Native American civilisation. Expand Please.

Update 2:

@ammianus....Romans did not invent concrete. They used it extensively so it is still highly visible today. The Greeks were using limestone concrete before the Romans and the Egyptians used burned gypsum concrete to encase the Great Pyramids and to set the foundationof pyramids in 2500 BC. Paving stones at Giza are also held together with gypsum mortar. Sadly most of the pyramid casings had been dug off for building material.

Depends on your definition of great.

But, I'd agree generally that the greatest civilisation was African, the Egyptians were by far some of the greatest people to ever step foot in the ancient world.

However, the Romans and Chinese are arguably greater than the Egyptians. The Romans were great culturally, militarily, and technology, the Chinese were a technological giant with masses of things that would have been considered great, helping them to become a great economic civilisation.

    Define Greatest Civilisation.

    What are your measurement requirements.

Egypt is in there with the top 3 or is that 4.

However Egypt was a stepping stone for Greece, and Rome used the stepping stones of Egypt and Greece, but you could put Rome and Greece together.

Some will say China, but I have yet to find any real Civilisation come out of China?

And finally Britain which used Rome and Greece as its blueprint and invented the modern World (including USA)

But what do you mean by greatest Civilisation, if you mean Law, Sanitation, food production to feed all, lack of corruption so that the poor benefit along with the rich, defence of values, equality of the individual, mass communication, heat and energy distribution.

Britain by a Country mile and no other comes even close.

Also the world dresses in our Country dress, jacket, tie, shirt, trousers, shoes.

Depends on your point of view. Mankind originated in Africa, but some of the greatest civilisations were European - look at the Roman and Ottoman empires, which covered most of the known world. The Romans were known to live sophisticated lives with heated houses, and were great road builders and travellers. So too were the ancient Egyptians in North Africa. It's true to say that modern America is just an extension of European civilisation. So too is Australia. It depends what you mean by 'great'.

The Moors of North Africa studied algebra and tracked the move of the celebs at the same time as europeans were portray their faces blue and worshipping o.ok.timber. The Acropolis of the great Zimbabwe rivaled the Parthenon in Greece. the major difficulty replaced into that there replaced right into a lack of a written language in Africa, no choose for it. The Zulu hadpatriarchalcal device that predates some thing in Europe. The Congolese had electgovernmentsnts at the same time as kings of france were battling over who sat the position. We listen so little because there replaced into no longer written language and the artifacts we come across educate that there replaced into little choose for cities and verbal substitute. each and everything replaced into available and the temperature replaced into sensible, so no choose for homes and highways. Too regularly civilization is in reaction to fabric issues. African countries invented, vaccines, the compass, the telescope and a number of of different forms of math.

If you want to count ancient Egypt as African - and there's no reason not to - then perhaps.

I'd go with Roman civilization, because its (still) ongoing worldwide effect, and not just in the West. For example the Romans invented concrete, still the basis of all large scale construction projects everywhere.
