Blood clots during a miscarriage....Please help?
my sister is having a suspected miscarriage. She is bleeding through a pad every half hour plus clothing and passing clots the size of her hand.
She has spoken to mat/genealogical ward and they would not see you untill you are 14 weeks pregnant and she was around 12.
Is this type of bleeding & clotting normal during a miscarriage? What should we do?
Please help

If she is saturating pads to the point they are heavy and dripping wet in less than an hour, then she is hemorrhaging and needs to be seen in the emergency department.
Anything less than that level of bleeding (including clots) is normal.

she needs to go to the hospital. that bleeding can cause her to die. they can stop the bleeding and she needs a dnc done to clean her out.
