What is Paul talking about in 1 Cor 15:26-28?
1 Corinthians 15:26-28 As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing. 27 For God “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.

Verse 26 says that there will be no more dying when this time comes.
Which time?
When Jesus, who has had all things subjected to him (every person on earth will acknowledge Jesus as king and will follow his commands), then Jesus will subject himself to God (meaning Jesus will give back to God the kingship that God had given him), and finally God will be king over everything in the universe for the rest of eternity. No one will die, no one will suffer, we will all live in a paradise on earth (Psalms 37:11,29; Matthew 5:5).
edit:
Jesus and God (whose name is Jehovah--Psalms 83:18) are definitely NOT the same being, and the Bible is very clear on that one in many places.

Not only does 1 Cor.15:28 show that Jesus subjects himself to God, but Jesus is phrased as a separate and distinct individual FROM God. This is in conjunction with the divine headship arrangement where God is head of Christ just as a man is head over woman:
1 Corinthians 11:3 says, "Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God." (New International Version)
According to the Bible, Jesus is not God but instead is God's only-begotten Son (John 1:18)

It's Paul clearly stating that even in heaven the Father is superior to Jesus.During his life on earth Jesus was subjected to the Father and openly admitted that the Father was greater than him.In this verse it says that the Father will make everything subject to Jesus, with the exception of Himself. So it appears that the Father is keeping Ultimate Authority for Himself and Jesus is second in command. The Father is Great! Like Jesus said, the Father is "the only true God!"

That Jesus is going to give back the kingdom that God GAVE to him in the first place, this shows that Jesus is NOT God but has a father himself, that is why Eph 1:3 says
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ" Eph 1:3, so God has a "god and father" himself so Jesus can't be God then !

death that keeps us in the grave and hell is defeated by the salvation and resurrection of jesus from the dead.
27 For God (the father) “subjected all things under his (jesus) feet.” But when he (the father) says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one (the father) who subjected all things to him (jesus). 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him (jesus), then the Son (jesus) himself will also subject himself to the One (the father) who subjected all things to him (jesus), that God (the father) may be all things to everyone.
god the father has placed every thing created to be subjected to the rulership of jesus
when that happens jesus will place himself under the rulership of god the father
