A question for fellow Catholics - would you say it's okay to pray before hitting "submit" on an online job site board for an opportunity..?

you're applying to.  I'm seeking a full-time industry job (or a similar position where I'd utilize transferable skills) and wonder if saying a prayer before I apply for a position online is something that is fine or is that a bit over the top and perhaps putting too much pressure up Above especially if you think this would be a great permanent role to land.  I doubt I'd get highly upset with the Lord if I did pray and my application ended up being rejected.  I totally understand HR managers call the shots when picking candidates to contact for interviews.  I'd appreciate your feedback.  I've been on a number of gigs (temporary assignments) recently and make it a habit (I'm guessing it's okay) to pray to the Lord and thank him for each of these gigs, even if they turned out to be short-term which they all did.

As another Catholic I'd say it is perfectly fine to pray a job.

The bible says to pray in all matters. I'm certain that includes job searching.
