my husband was working like 20 hours every day bc i had to quit when i got pregnant s oi know how that feels but i just had my first at the end of november so i dont know how the taking care of kids thing is.
just relax and stop thinking about it. my son was a day late. i had to be scheduled for induction and right before they were going to induce me my water broke.

I will be 40 weeks on the 10th and I know just how you feel. I have a 5 year old daughter, she was born at 39 weeks exactly, when she was born I lost the mucus plug and had the bloody show and then contractions started right away, labor progressed over the next two days and I had her by the third day. It was a long labor but things were progressing.
This time around I have been having early signs of labor for the last three weeks, I lost the mucus plug, I am dilating, I have had severe pressure, I get really strong contractions (all have turned out to be false and very irregular),and other signs that might be a little too much information... Anyways I am just going about my life waiting for things to start happening but I am very uncomfortable, I will get periods of time when I have energy but it doesn't last long enough to get much done before I am aching or not feeling well and have to stop.
All the baby stuff has been set up ready and waiting for the baby to come and use it for over a month, and I am getting very restless. I am sorry I don't have much advice on what to do because I am in the same boat as you, just waiting for things to happen naturally... I have been staying home a lot also because I keep thinking things will start happening and I don't want to waist my energy and then go into labor, but my daughter is getting tired of being home all the time, so we have been going for short walks around the neighborhood to pass some of the time. I have family members who live far away calling me everyday to see if anything is happening yet and it is just starting to drive me crazy! Anyways sorry for venting a little on here, basically I am just saying I can relate! I hope things start happening for the both of us soon! Good luck!
Edit: Also my husband has been busy working as well, but he sometimes drives me nuts because he is just so calm about it all saying things like "it will happen eventually" and "you can't be pregnant forever" obviously I know he is right but I am the one who is still physically pregnant so it can be frustrating!

Start thinking about something besides the 'due' date.. Soon you will have another baby in your arms, but for now, relax!
I know it's tough those last couple of weeks, but it doesn't do much good to complain. Relax in a nice warm tub of water, and drink a large cup of hot/warm catnip, chamomile, or mint yea. It will soothe you.

This is very critical. Follow these steps to survive.
1.) drink water from a stream.
2.) use ur house to start a fire
3.) cut of unneccary limbs and roast them in the fire
4.) eat the limbs. Survive.
5.) lastly you cannot survive if you kill yourself
