Please help me! Need to loose weight but gained some on the diet!?
I'm 5"7 and weight 150lbs. I was put on birth control 3 months ago but before I weighed 140lbs.
It's my first day on the diet and I gained a pound. I know its not much but I'm scared it will happen the whole time.
This is what I ate:
Breakfast, orange juice and a slice of wholemeal bread.
Lunch, water with two slices wholemeal bread
Dinner, small bit of chicken curry and rice.
I went to my dance class for and hour and a half and I was full sure I worked off at least half the calories I consumed today! Any ideas why I gained a pound? What am I doing wrong? I'm just freaking out that I'll keep gaining weight. I need to be down to 120-130lbs in 5 weeks.
This is a huge difference to what I used to eat. I could eat anything I wanted without gaining weight but since I was put on the pill I just gained 10 pounds.

I read oj in morning isn't good for you last months men's health.... The body uses carbs for energy when no carbs available body burns fat.... That's why ppl do low carb diets.... Count calories use calorie calculator found via google search take your number found and minus 500 calories that is pound of fat per week just with diet:-) weight loss is math try subbing a salad with grilled chicken for lunch as opposed to the bread....
