What is an antique Moore shotgun worth?
While remodeling an old farmhouse, I found one inside a wall cavity. It is in good condition, has nice engraving, and has Damascus or twist steel barrels. it is a 12 ga double barrel, breech. is it worth anything aside from a wall hanger?

In general, it's not safe to shoot with modern ammo. I don't know the value except to say it will probably fall somewhere between $150 and $500, but it's really impossible to guess without seeing the gun.
There is ammunition available which would be safe to shoot in your gun, but that's pretty expensive compared to modern ammunition. You can also buy components to reload black powder shells. If you take the time to learn to do it safely, reloading can be enjoyable and it'll make it possible for you to shoot your gun.
If you do decide to either buy low pressure ammo or reload, have the old gun checked out by a gunsmith to insure that it's safe to shoot first.
