I had a disturbing dream, what does it mean?

I had a dream I was in the truck with my mom and she was driving and there was a yellowish coloured rat by my feet. It kept climbing up onto my arms and hands and legs and biting and chewing at the skin and I kept picking it up and putting it back by my feet. I don't know why I didn't just ask my mom to pull the truck over so I could put the rat outside. It continued climbing up and biting me and I picked it up and looked at it and its teeth were covered in my blood and its left cheek had some blood on it, and it looked like it was kind of smiling. I put it back down and it climbed up me again and bit right through the vein on my wrist and I started crying and put it by my feet again then it ran over to the drivers side of the car and went under the rubber mat that my mom's feet were on top of. My mom stepped on it accidentally and the rat died. Then I woke up.
What does this dream mean? If it helps I don't own a pet rat or any other rodents and I love all animals..and also I don't remember where we were driving to or if we even knew where we were going.

This dream shows your mom has a good grasp on how to handle a problem. Where as you keep putting it back on the floor hoping it will fix itself or go away by itself.

This is a stab in the dark but as an example it may work. You have a friend that is not the best for you. Gets you hurt (physically or mentally) No matter what happens it is still your friend right? Your mom probably told you to get rid of him/her but you don't get rid of friends right? If it was up to your mom she'd sweep that friend under the rug and step on it.

And you know what yellow mean right? It may point you to the rat your dream is referring to. Or you could ask your mom.

Your mom seems to have a positive influence on your life.The dream only states that even though you are facing problems and trying to shield away from it without troubling your mom,she always in a way helps you to get out of that.Plus Iam not sure if this helps but in a recent survey conducted on people watching horror movies or any untoward incident not normally associated with their trait they tend to get nightmares.You need to be more self strong mentally.

Its simple. It means dont be a coward or 'yellow' that part of your life wont bother you anymore. Its dead and cant hurt you anymore. Follow your heart and do what you want. Your mother is a strong influence in your life.

It seems that you have a problem or a situation that you cant handle or solve and it takes your mother to correct the problem.
