What 7.62 semi auto rifle is best?

I do not know of a lot of makers of rifles for this cartridge.

AK, AR, Ruger,

What rifle do you like with this cartridge?

Why you like it like it would be good to know as well.

    My favorite would be the M14 cambered in 7.62x51

    Good, accurate, hard-hitting cartridge in a rifle built like a tank.

    The AK-47 is chambered for 7.62x39mm,

    the M1A1 is chambered for 7.62x51mm, and

    the M1 Garand is chambered for 7.62x63mm.

    They are not interchangeable.
