Why won't guys ask me out?

I'm a junior in a big high school, I don't know how to put pictures in a question but, I'm not ugly..so why won't guys ask me out? I laugh and joke around, and my brutally honest guy friends just shrug when I ask them. It's not that big of a deal since I'm only in high school but, I'm just kinda frustrated..please help.

I'm not sure how old kids are if they're a junior, but I'm pretty sure the boys are still young. Even though they act it, most boys are not confident at all when they're in their teenage years. Maybe stop focusing on why guys in general won't ask you out, but find one guy that you really like and try asking him out? There's no shame in the woman making the first move and most of my guy friend said they prefer when the woman makes the first move because women are difficult to read and guys can't usually tell if she's interested or not.

I have to agree with Jess, whenever I talk with a girl it's hard for me to know if she's friend zoning me or not. If you make the first move and make it obvious you like the guy then he'll fall into place. Just be aware that guys at that age can be douche bags, and he many screw you around, so choose wisely and don't take it to serioussly until you're a little older

Because we're terrified. I'm a senior and I'm not ugly, but I always freak out when it comes to asking out girls. Just wait. Hopefully as time goes on, guys will gain some confidence. I hope I do. Don't worry- It probably isn't because they don't like you!
