Yeah, we reserve the right to complain here in Northern California. Anything under 35 degrees & we're dying. In the summer, it's anything over 85, & did you know that very few of us even have air conditioning?
A big complaint in California offices is that it's "stuffy" in here, whatever that means. Well, it means people would really like every door & window open, & it better be warm enough to eat outside & not too windy either. Why do we expect such a temperate climate? We're paying for it, that's why. It's supposed to be a perk with the high housing costs, which barely allow any left over for food & clothes as it is.
The washer & dryer are out in the garage btw. I've told everyone how hard it is to keep clean clothes around under such deprived conditions. When it's windy & raining hard, it's really hard to take care of stuff. I keep running out of fresh food & clean clothes & everything. How many months now until spring?
The fruit & veggies in that salad better be organic. What about that little bit of lime you're about to squeeze onto the avocado? Did you buy organic? And did you wash your hands after answering the phone? Did somebody borrow your pencil? Uh, oh. You better get out the disinfectant & the hand wipes. You'll give us all the flu. Or so I've heard.
You bought the limes at the store near your house or maybe at a chain store? You should have gone across town to that local guy. He's someone you can trust. You got that outfit at the Salvation Army a mile from your house? Why don't you shop at the Animal Welfare League? They really need the money.
So, it's not just whine. It gets pretty cheesy, too, in this day & age. Nice salad, by the way. Be sure to save me some of that chocolate cake. I didn't even get a coffee break today because it was just too busy. So, yeah, I'll take some cheese & whine & a big slice of chocolate cake. Somebody better get fresh milk, too. Some people NEED it for their coffee.
Some of us in the Senior Category have been saying that the kids & teens are way too spoiled, especially compared to needy folks. After having a little fun with your question, Cliff, I'm thinking it's not just the kids. We're really the ones who are guilty of that, too. What are we, the United States of Spoiled Americans? Not us! I've still got a lot of whine left. How about you?

Sorry, but I don't drink. And sadly, I'm allergic to dairy, wine, no thanks. Cheese, Pleeze(Misspelled on Purpose) That would kill my kidneys. Even though, I do like ice cream, for some strange reason I've noticed that the things people are allergic to attract them, Its like everyone's weakness. The things you cant have you desire passionately.
