Are creativity and innovation the same thing?

I got this answer wrong by answering FALSE. I feel that people can be creative but not all can be innovative... I feel that in innovation, you need creativity. But just because you are creative doesn't necessarily mean you can be innovative.

Please answer and if you can give me an "official" answer linked to some reputable source, then you'll for sure get the 10 points! haha... I need to email the professor and I need some evidence to back up my claim. Unless I am totally wrong???

    Sorry, you won't win this one. On vocabulary tests, often close enough is good enough. If two words were identical in meaning then we wouldn't need or use both of them, so the word choices are never exact in meaning. As you have found out, over analyzing test questions can make you wrong.

    I agree with you. You can be creative and paint nice pictures or write interesting stories, but you are not being innovative.
