Why do people want to get rid of the second ammendment knowing what happened in China, Germany and Russia?

Mao, Hitler and Stalin first brainwashed the kids, took away the peoples guns, and then proceeded to murder millions. Why would anyone in there right mind want all of society to be disarmed knowing that a dictator can now point THEIR guns at the masses, control them, and murder those who disagree? History is set to repeat itself and WAY too many people are so blinded by celebrity, they can't see it coming.

Actually they took the guns away killed anyone who stood in the way and then brainwashed the left overs.

In our country our rights are protected by the Constitution (and as the granddaughter of 2 Holocaust survivors I drill this into people's heads Germany had a Constitution just like the USA does)

Our founding fathers knew the dangers of what happens when the people give too much power to anyone man it would never stop first its the second amendment than it would be our freedom of speech or our freedom of religion.

Stalin once said. "One death is a tragedy one million is a statistic."

Thomas Jefferson once said: "When the government fears the people you have liberty, but when the people fear the government you have tyranny." He also said: "That an occasional revolution is good for a country because it keeps the government on its toes."

And lets face it the winds towards another Civil War or another American Revolution is coming if the government keeps going after the Constitution.

Obama according to our Constitution is our president illegally and that's according to Article 25 Section 9 clause A-B:

"We herein declare on this day (which was August 9th) in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Eighty-Nine that ONLY a Natural USA citizen can become president of the United States of America."

And that Article was created by drum roll people other than Our First President himself General George Washington.

Who wants to take away the second ammendment. Obama has never mentioned that.

Who told you that Mao, Stalin and Hitler disarmed the people? The NRA?

NO NO NO> Never give up the 2nd Amendment. It is the only the first step. Get guns registered so that the government knows who owns them all and watch the confiscation begin. Doesn't anyone study history? People who go on trial for gun crimes are released by the bleeding hearts on the jury who are told the perpetrator has changed..."he has religion" " he is a good man", etc, etc,. The laws are in place....enforce and convict.

you must have misread something somewhere. Nobody said anything about taking guns away completely or disarming the citizens. They just want to reduce gun violence.

"They" took away guns in Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, France, and dozens of civilized democracies, and nothing happened.

Nobody is advocating taking away guns. "They" are advocating better controls on crazy people, violent ex-cons, terrorists, etc. AND "they" want to stop selling assault rifles - nothing else.

Well beside the fact that you are totally wrong anyway.

I would love to see you "welcoming" 4 million german soldiers with your handgun especially when they role a tank into your front yard.

Please visit the USA so you can see how little you know about our country.

We are a democracy, and are, at worst, a century away from such a disaster.

Saving thousands do lives by reducing gun ownership is the wisest policy.
