Gun lobby supporters: If you had a shootout with government forces who would win?

Lone gun nuts, even banded together, would not make a piddly dink against the government forces. They'd end up shooting each other just to say they killed "something."

They would win the battles at first. I know I will die but I will try to cost them so many as I can of the poor sucker stooges the frauds, embezzlers, and extortionists in the capitols violating our Bill of Rights abuse to front the protection racket they operate.

I went off to be a soldier at 20 years old knowing my job would be to kill so many as I could before I die. It hope I don't need to be one again.

The best we can do is chew them down and cost them more than one for one until we can set up the onion defense that will cost them a great many more than one for one. If I can develop my "shredder," and it actually works, the poor brainwashed and indoctrinated sucker stooges betraying their oaths of office and violating our Bill of Rights will be slaughtered wholesale.

Anti-Federalist farmers and tradesmen demanded the Bill of Rights they sponsored for protection from Federalist Party bankers and merchants likely to control the new federal government. Their Second Amendment dedicates the new young fully trained and equipped militia corps Federalists wanted to protect their businesses from rebellions, like Shays's had been against Massachusetts banks, to first defend states from federal domination. They also registered citizens' right to military weapons for fighting with or against that new young, easily indoctrinated militia we now call the National Guard.

Using your logic, yes it does sound ridiculous. But is one person vs the entire gov't a likely scenario? No. It's not the scenario that the 2nd Amendment is based on either.

The idea is not only personal protection against petty crime, but mass protection against tyranny. The U.S. Government has turned on its own people in the past, and who is to say whether they would do it again.

I'm not an American so it really is extremely hard to understand the 'right' to bear arms , why would you anyway? So , if for instance , someone burgled your house and you shot them in the head a point blank range , you would get away with it? . The power-that-be MUST stop this carnage of millions of people handling firearms at all , especially these rapid fire semi-automatic combat rifles. Who runs America , the President or the so-called gun lobby?

These idiots need to learn what Democracy means. How can they call themselves "Patriots" when what they advocate is the destruction of the Rule of Law, and the murder of their fellow citizens? These are a$$holes of the highest order, and they want to undo the legacy of Democracy in Western Civilization. By definition, they are "Anti-American." They have a thug mentality that might makes right. What the hell do they think would happen if they succeeded? That a new, improved, government would magically take it's place? They'd have to start over from square one, with none of the foundations and institutions of liberty, democracy, and justice. It would be like a failed Middle East country, where the corrupt and powerful scum quickly seizes control and smashes the hopes that anyone had of a free society.

Of course, they'd never actually win. At most, it would be a rash of crazed gunmen that are eliminated or apprehended over time. It would be a dark time for the US, but the history books will mock these murderous insurrectionists, not praise them.

The Government would win. But once the legal gun owners are gone. Look behind you at what is left on the street. And tell me what you won?

I'm assuming, you mean, perhaps me vs a team or squad of your basic infantry?

I could probably take on a team, maybe a squad. But if they sent a platoon at me, well, sheer numbers would do the trick. However, I wouldn't be alone in this. I'd have my fellow Ranger buddies, and my fellow southerners with me. If this were the case, we would easily topple a platoon.Texas would have forcefully seceded and raised their own army by this point. It would be full out civil war.

Probably 1/8 to 1/4 of the military forces would join the cause against the oppressive government. People such as my self, would form Assassination squads and go for officers, and high ranking officials, and other people who control the masses. A leaderless army is useless. After the mass of liberators (liberators would be what I could call us, because we would be liberating ourselves from a tyrannical government), battled with your basic infantry and what not, hopefully a good chunk of the bulk military force would be gone. With fractions of the force gone, and leaders being killed, you would just have a bunch of guys not having orders, and not knowing what to do. Morale would be low, they would slowly start converting to Liberators. We would also kill off most liberals because they're useless / ruining the country, and we once we took control, we would make it illegal to be liberal. Punishable by death. There would probably still be liberal extremist picking us off and what not, but after a year or so, we would have taken them out. We would re elect new leaders, change the way the law system works, make the senate / house jobs, completely volunteer with low paying jobs, and almost no perks. Since you barely work. No perks / No money. No corruption. There would be a income cap. Perhaps around 100 Million. So, you cannot earn more than that a year, for the few who do, anything else, would go directly back into the company, and a fraction of that would be required for use for public help, such as schooling, helping the NEEDED POOR (Not lazy assholes, who refuse to get jobs), fraction would go into federal reserve, and fractions would go into bettering infrastructure. There would be a federal jobs corps, IE a place where ALL open jobs would be listed, and you can apply based on various experience, knowledge, and education. If you are a cherry worker, you still start at the lowest, mcdonalds, etc, and work your way up. If you have prior experience, or knowledge, of education, that can be factored in. If you are strong, and willingly, construction can be a choice, and you will obviously be paid more.

This is just an idea I thought up as I went as how I would see the future going....

It will last for years but U.S forces would prevail I'm afraid after heavy losses on both sides could end up in the 1000s
