Not at all. President Obama pushed a stimulus to jump start a crashed economy and a health care bill to address an issue that has been discussed for over a hundred years.
He has not proposed any new programs that would fit that description so votes could not have depended on that.
You are desperate to criticize but first you have to face reality. The economy was in a disastrous condition when President Obama took office. Blaming him for the number of poor people who had to seek assistance to survive is absolutely ridiculous and totally dishonest.

In particular because it applies in the context where you body it, sure, totally imperative, suitable and proportionate. "... Extra comprehensive precautions because of the complex nature of the arena we are living in..."? You do not feel anybody stated that to Ben Franklin? Complete precautions proportionate to a specified science? Ok, great but how do the complexities of rising applied sciences translate to repeal of habeas corpus? What is the technological precedent for that? I suppose the Patriot Act is a textbook perfect example of exactly what Franklin used to be talking about, and likewise, extra textbook fabric: "isn't it perfectly logical to anticipate... With out these enhanced safety measures... We won't have a structure... Left to safeguard?" If we repeal the structure, do we have a structure 'left to defend'?

When giant corporations buy up a government then they don't have to vote...they order their bought and paid for politicians HOW to vote and what to vote for. Today these corporate weasels don't just own a few politicians, they own an entire political party.....the GOP/Tea/Fox/Jesus freak party. They also own a monster of a Ministry of Propaganda...all those right wing radio dummies on the public airways 24/7/365 pumping out disinformation and total bull @#$% . Yeah...we know who you are...right wing, fascisti, reactionary retards that can't wait to own it all and to turn the 95% of Americans who work for hourly wages into peon and coolies, then 'legally' end the republic!

That's a counterintuitive concept since being a Republic is allocating money for public purposes.
Did you know the synonym of "republic" is "commonwealth" (according to Google*)?
*{Noun
A state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president...
Synonyms
commonwealth}
Words are great. I wish conservatives understood words, their meaning and social significance. We wouldn't waste so much time divided on issues important to our general welfare.

It doesn't apply to Obama but it seems to fit the Republican money machine perfectly, especially the part that says it will be the end of the Republic(ans).

Well, nobody's voted himself money, and the Republic is still here. So Ben must have been thinking about someone else. Keep in mind that he died during the Washington administration.

It applies directly to the rich and their tax loopholes . Some day when the economy implodes it won't be because of an Obama phone .
- PoBoyLv 78 years ago
It applies to most politicians, but more to the GOP in the form of subsidies and tax breaks and incentives than to Obama.

Totally, but look on the bright side - 2016 is just around the corner.
