Why do the many liberals on here generalize the "red" versus "blue" states?

They comment as though there ar no liberals in a red state or no conservatives in a blue state. The reality is that the colors of red versus blue are made by a thin margin of electoral votes in most cases.

I don't understand how a party that purports to be inclusive and embraces diversity shows how far away from those traits they really are with such ridiculous generalizations.

Update:

davidmi711 - I'm refering to people on here who have made those generalizations with their answers, I'm not generalizing all liberals

Update 2:

@Frank - take another look at your map. As I said "a thin margin of electoral votes in most cases" I didn't say all cases. Thanks for proving my point.

Most red and blue states are formed by much larger margins that the "thin margin of electoral votes" that you incorrectly claim. Check out the map in my source for the truth.

The person I see making ridiculous generalizations is you.

you're often maximum suitable. Meanings of words & occasion labels recommend especially much not something anymore. we could get greater stated.approximately applicants & matters. and exceptionally approximately marketing campaign approaches. My widespread rule of thumb is, "Who ran the least grimy marketing campaign?" Have they performed or tried to what they stated they might do interior the previous, & seem up the record relatively than believing the contest's statements? Will what they recommend paintings? Do they make experience? maximum heavily, do they admit their errors? Is it honest for each individual, or a minimum of as honest because it incredibly is? And these days, whose pocket is being lined this time? And who's getting fleeced? Now I actually have a query for you. Are you attempting to cajole human beings you're maximum suitable? considering which you're in elementary terms turning off all human beings who disagrees with you. provide your damn ego a relax, guy. only ask the question. Telling us we are incorrect is only dividing us added, this is what you have been griping approximately interior the final question you requested. In different words, practice what you carry forth.

Because people who are red in a blue state aren't the same sort of red as they are in a red state.

And it's the red states, with their dominance in congress which play the tune all red voters dance to.

Most Red politicians in blue states would be blues if they stayed the same in a red state.

    The reverse is not true.

Good point, but it does work both ways, as we have seen many cons lately bashing California as a "failed liberal state". The truth is that conservatives are most prevalent in the rural areas and liberals within the cities, in all states.

generally i see questions like this one, AFTER i see questions written by conservatives which make sweeping generalizations about what all liberals, dems, or people who didn't vote for the idiots republicans ran in the last election - want, say or do.

in this case, it was a bunch of questions about how much more dems and liberals take than conservatives.

the logical response to this has been to point out that blue states give far more with regards to tax revenue to the govt than red states do.

so now, cons are whining about people pointing out the simple mathematical facts.

thanks for a glimpse into the mindset of conservatives...
