Something tells me this is a joke, rather than a genuine question! ;) I do remember a Shih Tzu cross French Bulldog who used to come to training classes...funnily enough, that dog's owners didn't make up their own name for the 'hybrid'!!
Yes you get a crossbreed, however many people give them stupid names depending on what they're crossed with.

A really ugly mutt, which is NOT a hybrid, btw. Dog bred to dog = dog. They are NOT different species. They're different breeds of dogs.
